frenchy appears to fall for teh alughable myth that AIDs is a 'gay disease' that strikes 'those who go out of their way to contract it' and cannot 'be contracted by everybody.' In fact, of course, the whole AIDS epidemic in America is a sideshow on the world scale. Most AIDS cases are in Africa, where homosexuality is rare, and are spread heterosexually. Please show some modicum of respect for the facts, Frenchy. The vast majority fo AIDS sufferers worldiwde got it through heterosexual intercourse (or blood-to-blood contacts, etc.)

You could just as well say, based on limited knowledge about American statistics 9the world doesn't end at American shores, you know) that hepatitis C is an STD. It is, in the Amaerican context. But if you said that, it would not only be foolish and laughable but also offensive. I know at least two doctors who picked up thsi incurable disease in teh course of working in Africa. Go chew on that for awhile.
