That was a great remark there MDG, keep it humorous!!: Au contraire, Lark, animals can teach us many things. The celebrated mother cat who nearly burned to death in New York City a few years ago while rescuing her kittens from a burning building teaches us love and commitment and courage (happy ending: she was healed, and she and her kittens all found good homes). Dogs which mourn their guardians' death and sit by the front door waiting for their return teach us loyalty. Elephants which pick up their dead and bring them to a gravesite teach us respect and self-sacrifice. I don't know about you, but I consider it a compliment to be called an animal.
Well at times, I've a mate who thinks Dogs taught him a whole new style of intercourse with his long suffering girlfriend, they are ruled by instinct primarly though, it's one thing to simply do something and another to have alternatives and choose to do what is right anyway. Appreciate what your saying though and agree with it when in a more utopian mindset.
