Could'nt agree with you more... it is a savage and indefensible activity. Can someone answer a technical question. These foxhounds, am I right in thinking that if a special whistle is blown in the vicinity of dogs they go ape - is it at a frequency that cannot be heard by human beings. If so, would it be possible for say a radio transmitter to broadcast a tone at this frequency in the vicinity of a hunt ? It should'nt harm the dogs but it might be they would not be able to follow the scent - or am I just being fanciful ?
