: As a closing comment, I worked for Burger King too. My hands may not be as rough as Frenchy's (and we could have a jolly time speculating on why his palm skin is so worn), but I've worked the shittiest of shit jobs, and I don't apologize for escaping that level of employment. As Michael Moore once said, "Being working class sucks! The working class want to get the hell out of the working class!"
Wait guys! Don't leave me out! I worked in fast food (a greasy coffeehouse) and it SUCKED. It annoyed the shit out of me too, because of teh way we ripped off customers. There was a bagel chain, Finagle, on the other side of teh block, literally a MINUTE"S walk from the cafe. You could get a bagel there for 50 cents. We went to Finagle in the morning, bought their bagels, then took them a minute's walk away and charged a dollar. If ANYONE says we 'added value' to the bagel, I'm going to laugh. The value of the bagel remained what it was before. We were just making money off customers' ignorance, and I was getting my six bucks an hour out of teh racket. God, I'm glad I left.
None.
