: : : Be sure to use only polyunsaturated pure vegetable oil. Any animal fats would definitely be environmentally unfriendly as well as upsetting to the animal rights activists.

: : Animal fats ain't too good for your heart either.

: : : And be sure to use only dead wood -- no coal or oil -- for the fire to heat that oil to frying temperature. Of course, you could use a solar-powered cooker, but don't cut down any trees to build a frame to put it in.

: : : As a matter of fact, you should probably move -- by walking or bicycle of course -- far enough south so that you can live out in the open and still be warm without having to burn anything to put environmentally unsafe pollutants and other by-products into the air.

: : : Maybe you should only fry sea-weed -- as long as you can harvest it in a manner which does not disturb the sensitive aquacultures.

: : I don't get it, Gotch? Are you saying people shouldn't be concerned about the environment? You believe in God, and presumably, that God gave man free will. Don't you think God would want us to be concerned about using natural resources in wasteful ways?

: Copenhagen: I believe that gotch is referring to the fact that one can somethimes take things to extremes that are unwarranted.

I'd prefer it if you let Gotch speak for himself. As for extremes, your eagerness to include animal torture in religious rituals is an example of taking human superiority to extreme, and repugnant, levels.
