the 2nd amendment states, "the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed" full-stop. There is no mention of magazine size, rate of fire, or to what extent those arms may resemble assult rifles. All rifles in those days were assult rifles.
i think it's high time you get rid of your government and their use of media hype to detract from the real issues at hand. you ask them to fix drug problems, they'll do something about gun laws and assign police to target dealers and users. how has this, with their crap house funding, done any good???
