BJU is a seminary school. Students are required to recite and believe a creed and dedicated to teaching religion. Are you of the opinion that scientists should have to believe a specific creed without question? Generally, scientists try to understand the nature of the material world around them, rather than assuming that they already have all the answers and then trying to find ways to get the evidence to support their credo of beliefs.
Again, I am not hostile to religion. I am only disturbed when it tries to pretend that it isn't religion, just as I'm disturbed when scientists pass themselves off as theologians. It's bogus either way.
