: If eugenics is a totally free choice is it still as wrong?

Historically, eugenics has been imposed by people on other people. If it's chosen, the term for it is assortative mating.

: If GM foods where safe and not just some corporate plaything would they be wrong?

As long as they remained under the exclusive control of the corporations, yes, since it's the corporations that are wrong, rather than the technology.

: The left is getting accused of a lot of anti-scientism, now I dont think we are anti-science just causious about who's benefiting and who's controlling etc. what's everyone elses opinion?

I'm not sure I can technically be included in "the left," even though I fid them generally less noxious than the "right," but I agree. Anarchists, in general, (who aren't really leftists, although we often have similar goals) have also been accused of being luddites, but most of us aren't. We're just highly skeptical that corporations and the state (which currently control most science and most technology) are acting in the best interests of people. Fear of corporatons and governments is not the same as fear of science and technology. (As I write this, I'm sitting in one of the most high-tech labs in the state.) Personally, I love science, and I suspect that better science education is one of the shortest paths between here and universal freedom and justice. The path to slavery and barbarism, on the other hand, is shortest via ignorance.
