:Gotch: Can you explain these?DDN: Yes, Gotch. Its called a "variable". Its a value that CHANGES.......as opposed to a constant which is value that always stays the same no matter what. Things like rainfall, meteoric dust, population growth rates, soil formation, volcanic activity......these are VARIABLES whose values can and often have been known to shift wildly in both directions of over the course of time be it over several days, years, decades, millenium, or ages. Your arguments are based on the assumption that these phenomena are CONSTANTS that never vary (or never vary signifigantly) so that one can measure them at any point in time and from this single measurement accurately estimate how much dust, water, soil and people there should be.
You also need to be teaming up with Paul Harvey so you can give people "the rest of the story". You are speaking of these phenomena as if they existed in some sort of a vacuum isolated from all other events. Water evaporates, soil erodes, etc. Were you unaware of this? I guess the Bible doesn't cover these topics very well so you may have missed out on this info, but........now you know. Glad I could help out.
:Gotch: I'm glad I serve the God Who is able.
DDN: Umm....I think you're confusing God with Rush Limbaugh who is also endowed with omnipotent powers as demonstrated by his ability to negate fundamental realities like the ecosystem, Newton's laws of motion, and animal pain and suffering. But you can call him "God" if you want to - kinda fits in with my pantheist viewpoint. Hail omighty Rush.
None.
