: Animal testing is cruel, and how anyone can do such a thing is totally demented and should be had up for murder!!!!
: We are not happy about that person who said that it is totally right, because it is NOT.
: Animals should not suffer for our benefit!

Who's going to suffer then? The people who could have been cured of disease if experiments had taken place? I think your being very, very emotive about this and it isnt going to convince anyone of your position, try an argument like this instead:

The creature is either similar to us, which case it can be considered as immoral to experiment upon it as it is to experiment upon one of our own species, or it is nothing like us in which instance the experiment is of absolutely no value.

I think that forms of experimentation can and should be justified but we shouldnt fool ourselves it's moral, just necessary, the animals should be kept comfortable and allowed to live a productive and good life.

It's difficult to generalise because their are instances when it is wrong and others when it is right when utilitarian philosophies are applies (EG the greatest good or happiness for the greatest number) and it would perhaps be a better idea to provide a stringent and monitored code of practice to experimentation.

Besides do you think that this is the only manner in which animals are tormented? It is one of the most obvious but possibly not the worst, the everyday neglect of animals, I remember reading a while back about a bunch of cruel children who threw a dog from a flat window four or five floors up to see it's reaction, the application of mass production to farming, which has created battery farming etc. and the slash and burn (consider that they generally just burn the trees while elsewhere trees are being logged on mass for paper etc.) operations that take place to create land for mass farming of beef burgers, I mean cows.
