God, do I hate intellectuals.What of paradigms that measure difference in degree and quantity, rather than opposites? That is, levels of blue, yellow and red combining to form distinct colors ... In such a paradigm, is it necessary to have an opposite for blue ('not-blue'?) to be able to deal with the concept of 'blue', in and of itself?
