Board of Inquiry/Tribunal to Hear Retail Discrimination Case

Pieters v. Eatons was referred to a board of Inquiry/Tribunal on Oct. 4, 1999, by the Ontario Human Rights Commission.

Eatons and its successors are accountable for fostering a poisoned work environment for its employees in an anti-union retail establishment.

One supervisor admitted that Eatons targetted people for discrimination under the pretext of customer service based on their ethno-racial background.
