Depends what you mean by cruelty.

Depends what you mean by cruelty. I think it's cruel to keep animals in a zoo - it's not their natural habitat, they are imprisoned against their will, but in some cases it means they live longer lives than they would in the wild - cruel or not ?. I don't eat eat meat as I'm against the slaughter of animals for food (or for any other reason come to that ), but I have cats who have to be fed on processed meat
unless someone can convince me they don't need meat. Lots of compromises have to be made in life, it's just that most of us are against animals being treated cruelly.
