Darya: Ok, first I would like to state that I belong to a major world religion and I tolerate and respect differences of opinion. DDN: Then the degree to which you belong to Christianity is highly questionable since Christianity firmly espouses a zero tolerance policy on other belief systems.
Darys (cont):.....There are thousands upon thousands of members of the same religion that feel as I do.
DDN: Then they suffer from the same dilemma.
Darya (cont):.....There are also thousands and thousands that don't.
DDN: If there are thousands and thousands of members that don't feel as you do (tolerant), then I'm NOT "judging your religion by only one follower" - I'm judging it by thousands and thousands, right? Also, if you reserve the right to judge your religion as TOLERANT because it has thousands and thousands of members that are TOLERANT, then don't I have the right to judge your religion as INTOLERANT because there are thousands and thousands of members that are INTOLERANT?
Darya (cont):.... Don't judge ANYONE as an intolerant person because they belong to a certain religion.
DDN: How can you truthfully claim to "belong" to a certian religion if you do not believe in that religions fundamental tenets? What do you mean by "belong"? Do you mean only that you go to church on Sunday and try to pretend like you are listening to the sermon? Do you mean that you sit with a Bible in your lap at night while you watch television but never bother to read it?
None.
