Religious fundies who buy into Social Darwinism

I thought Sean Gonsalves' article was really amusing. The same folks who are trying to introduce Creationism in the schools are believers in the social Darwinism of competitive capitalism, that capitalist society will evolve the entrepreneur Ubermensch while consigning the poor to the ash-heap of history..."God created us, say the fundamentalists. Created us for what? To compete in a Darwinian society, where "survival of the fittest" is held up as divine law?"
