I cannot tell you why Mr. Gort has given up on you. I can comment on why I will leave a thread unanswered, however:1) The topic has drifted into something completely spurious (we will be talking about literacy rates, and I will suddenly be asked to answer for the 'genocide' of native Americans).
2) The respondent persistently refuses to acknowledge what is being said/written, and merely repeats the old line.
3) The 'debate' is about to become an unwinnable contest of wills, one in which hairs are to be split.
4) The respondent is abusive, or obviously ignorant of the facts.
A note: McDonalds' also has a 'web page' (perhaps in response to this one?). There is no place to leave commentary there. I despise the Communist ethos - in particular, the 'one true wayism' of the philosophical system. That web page is a perfect example of it. Kudos to McSpotlight, and those involved, for at least being open to criticism.
