Actually, Thailand HAS lost a war......

Actually, the Thais Have lost a war. In World war II, the noble, friendly Thais saw fit to ally themselves with the FASCIST Japanese so that they could get a slice of Cambodia and Malaysia.
I don't want to rain on your parade, but I do think your vision of Thailand is a bit rose tinted. Of course they probably are better than America in some regards, and vice versa, I know many people who say the same about India. When it comes down to it, deciding which cuntry is the bst must be a subjective decision. That said., if you have found a country which pleases you as much as Thailand does, I'm sincerely happy for you.
