The French revolution was led by bourgeois republicans. The Russian revolution was led by Leninists. neither was an example of anarchism.

moreover, anarchism means many things to many people. as such, any talk of a unified anarchist movement is meaningless. I could turn just about anything you said about seeking power, etc. onto the history of the Christian Church. but to conclude from that that Christianity (or anarchism) is about seeking power would be frankly ridiculous.
