SDF: Last I heard, the "communist or socialist" vote in the US consisted of a few write-in votes for splinter candidates that weren't really counted come election day, and wouldn't amount to anything even if they were counted. ('Tis more socialist in this regard to vote Green: see for instance Howie Hawkins' article here.) The Communist Party USA, for its part, appears to be recommending to its cadres that they vote Democrat in a "revolutionary" endorsement of the "lesser of two evils" voting strategy.
