SDF: Last I heard, the "communist or socialist" vote in the US consisted of a few write-in votes for splinter candidates that weren't really counted come election day, and wouldn't amount to anything even if they were counted. The Communist Party USA, for its part, appears to be recommending to its cadres that they vote Democrat in a "revolutionary" endorsement of the "lesser of two evils" voting strategy.
