Once again it still sounds like you are saying "I'm superior because I said so".I'm saying human superiority is manifest. But this argument of mine is only in response to those who consider men as equal to animals. I, of course, believe God created us as lords of this planet. You could say I think I am superior because God says so. That suits me. Disagree if you like. But if you'd like to call man an animal, how do you justify a moral judgment of meat eating without setting man apart from the animals that also eat meat? What seperates man from the animals, Karen?

Karen, what do you do for a living? Aspire to equality with birds and butterflies? I bet not. I imagine that the world forces you to compete with others to scratch out your living. If you truly feel no need to be superior to animals, why aren't you foraging for berries now?
:: From what i've been taught, Jesus was a very humble person with out a superiority complex. Perhaps he learned this way of thinking from God.
Would you like me to list the numerous biblical references in which Christ deifies Himself, Karen? He was "humble unto death" because He was willing to offer Himself as the "lamb that was slain from the foundation of the world" but not before He made it perfectly clear to His followers that He was God in the flesh.
"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God...and the Word became flesh and dwelt among us...and we beheld His glory."
It was quite clear to John who Jesus was - even if it isn't quite clear to you. If you would be taught anything of Jesus, learn that He is the freedom from guilt and shame that we all seek.
