This argument has been running far too long now. You won't convert meat eaters to vegetarianism. I used to eat quite a bit of meat, but less so now - partly due to health considerations and partly because of the cruelty to animals. I have, however, substitued meat for fish. Is eating fish cruel ? I think not - face it animals and fish were put on earth for a reason - what do you think that reason was ? they eat each other anyway, so what's the problem. That's nature, which, from what I read in these columns, most people seem to feel is the true force behind what happens on this planet - Darwinism for example. As a matter of interest, I don't believe in Darwinism. It is said by many that as there is proof of God, God does not exist. However, I've never met Darwin so by the same logic I assume he was a figment of someone's imagination - I'll bet his book was ghosted...
