:My opinion of the superiority of man comes partially from my belief in the Bible as God's word and partially from common sense. I've been reading the debate about human superiority over animals here for a while now, and I quite agree with you on the Genesis account that God let man rule over all the animals (ie superiority). I was just reading Ecclesiastes the other day, and stumbled across these verses:
"Then I realized that God allows people to continue in their sinful ways so he can test them. That way, they can see for themselves that they are no better than animals. For humans and animals both breathe the same air, and both die. So people have no real advantage over the animals. How meaningless!" Ecclesiastes 3:18-19 (NLT)
Okay in the context of Ecclesiastes, and everything being meaningless, we can explain this, but I'm not going to do that here, I have an assignment due in tomorrow and I shouldn't be wasting my time here on the Internet. Just giving you something to think about.
None.
