: this is an extremely touchy subjet. Animal testing, truly, has gotten us to where we are today. If we didn't perform animal testings, we would not be where we are today. Alas, I will agree with some in saying that some animal testing is useless and uneccessary. The space monkeys were treated inhumanely and cruely and didn't solve anything. If we are going to use animal testing, let's make it useful and productive.

OY! First please study up then re-assess your judgement. I promise you will be horribly surprised. And let us not forget that a portion of federal taxes in the US directly fund animal testing, also if you attend(ed) college a portion of your tuition likely went to the good ol research lab. It is not the sugar & spice we are led to believe. Do a little searching for info on the subject and keep in mind this will only be a tiny snippet of the horrors perpetrated, so basicly, multiply your findings by millions. www.navs.org
