a) A definition of logical might help. Can you honestly say that most of what happens aroung us today is 'logical'? Anyway, lets take the biggest thing around us - the universe. Try as I might I cannot find a logical reason for it existing - science really hasn't got an explanation for it (maybe it was the big bang, maybe it was something else), me I think a superior being (God) created it, for a reason he didn't tell us. I can't find much logic to anything out there...
b)Well, lots of people were talking about God before I was even born, so they beat me to it - creating him for my own comfort, that is.
c)Dubious historical text also applies to many people we've never met. We've never met say Cleopatra, the whole Roman empire might just have been devised by a gang of artists and writers, I've never met Darwin either - did he really exist ? It could all be a lie, a conspiracy !!
