Testing (TORURE) on animals

For some of you that don't know that much about animal testing, some of the things they do is literally light dogs on fire to the point that they have third degree burns (while still awake) just to see how they heal with NO pain killers, in the name of science. They go in to kittens brains and connect and disconnect nerves as though they were a jigsaw puzzle, and the kittens can't even walk straight or keep their balance after that. They burn pigs alive and sew monkey's eyelids shut to see if their hearing gets better. That's not testing, that's ridiculous. Tell me would you do that to a fellow human? We're animals too. As for those "vegetarians", ever hear of the food chain? Yes, we could go about the killing and farming of animals in a different way, but just as lions, tigers, and bears kill for food so do we, but we COULD be more humane about it.
