: I agree that homosexuality is a sin. The Bible says that it is. But not everyone believes in The Bible. Not everyone believes in sin, or Heaven and Hell. So some people don't care about whether homosexuality is right or wrong. Isn't it a reflection of our society's attitudes that homosexuality gets publicity. It's probably 'politically incorrect' to make a stand against homosexuality, and people will call you names, but good for you making a stand for what you believe in.Yeah! Here, here!! Take a Stand!!!
But if you find Skinheads, neo-nazi's and Macho freaks rallying to your side where is the real threat? I thought about this long and hard and if homophobia is a product of the male fear of being raped (to think men are just being enlightened as to the fear of the possibility of being violentated by a stronger person now, when women have had to live with this for years.) or violently assaulted then I'm not actually going to be afraid of Gays.
On the whole if anyone male or female makes a move on you and your not interested then that'll be fine with them.
As far as the bible goes Sodom was destroyed because the entire settlement was practicing violent homosexuality, I'd expect God to round on a town that was violently raping all the women or violently torturing every passer by similarly.
Sex and sexuality are all products of the genetic coding required to spurn people on to reproduce, I know that sometimes this is obviously fucked up if your trying to reproduce with someone of the same gender, this is a material factor I dont think will count in the after life.
