: I'm glad that was the manner in which you where asking because following on from the secterian accusations that Catholicism is complete heresy etc. it might have appeared like you where merely asking questions in a manner to vindicate your argument, with neither interest in the responce or reason.
As I'm sure you know, Protestants question whether or not some of the Catholic church's teachings are Biblical, and the Catholics question whether or not what Protestant "born again" believe. That is what my first post was all about. I have always wondered what was so different about the Catholic church, so I went with my friend to church once (he is roman catholic) but that left me with more questions, and I didn't want to ask him because I didn't want him to think I was putting him on the spot, so I took to the net. There, I found many christian websites that critisized Catholic teachings (those are what I put in my other post that you answered). I don't think that what Catholics believe is un-Biblical, I was just giving examples of what I have seen in hopes they would be explained. I still may not agree with what the Catholic church teaches, but I certainly don't think that they are stupid or ungodly.

McSpotlight: so *please* be careful about giving links to sites which do declare Catholics to be stupid or ungodly; or make it clear that those aren't your views; or people will assume you to be a holder of those views...
