Muslims, Jews, Jehovah's Witnesses, Hindus etc.. all believe that they believe in is the truth. The main aspect of Christianity is that Jesus, who is God, loves EVERYBODY so much that He came to this earth in the form of a person and lived amongst us, perfectly capable of feeling pain and he died a horrible painful death on the cross so you and I could escape hell. Jesus, the person, gave up his life so his children could live. Jesus taught that we Christians should love each other, even non- Christians, just as He loved us. Is that arrogant? We Christians do love our buddhist and muslim brothers and sisters, that is why we are sharing the gospel with them. Get it? Nobody is born saved, so Christians know what it is like to be an un-saved person because we were all there at one point in our lives. But somebody told us about Jesus and since trusting him, we become heirs of the kingdom of God rather than eternity in hell with satan.
Put it this way. If you knew that there was a bomb in a building and an explosion is inevitable sometime during the day, and there was nothing you could do to stop it, out of pure unselfishness and love, wouldn't you do everything you can to warn the people in the building? That's what Christians are doing.
