taken by Alan Clare to be copied for reference, referred to
on page 18 of his handwritten notes, and any letters taken
by him or any other of the Plaintiffs' agents on any other
days.

Then behind that there is a reply from Barlow Lyde &
Gilbert dated 25th October, 1993, saying, "Thank you for
your two letters of the 6th October 1993. Dealing firstly
with the letter regarding further discovery and adopting
the numbering used in your letter", and I miss them out
until we get to No 16 where it says, "Copies of these are
enclosed". Then behind it are copies of the documents
which are disclosed, which includes a letter from Pyramid
Designs dated 27th August, 1987, to Greenpeace London; a
letter from somebody called Paul Sinfugos in the USA dated
27th February 1990, "Dear Global Friends"; a letter from
J.Howey of London dated 8th February 1990 to... It
actually says 'to Voltsman' but, presumably, they have
passed it on to us. They are an organisation in Germany.

There is a letter from Ross Gardner in Auckland, New
Zealand, which is undated, but it talks about an event on
9th August; a letter from Transnational Information Centre
in London dated 21st March, 1988, about the pamphlet
"Working For a Big Mac" and how they are being threatened
with legal -- well, they have been issued with writs by
McDonald's -- and how they are trying to establish a
fighting fund in order to defend the action fully; a letter
from Cleveland Action for Animal Rights dated 14th
February, 1989, which is obviously to London Greenpeace.
It talks about the McDonald's campaign.

There is a letter from... It is undated, it says "Dear
Friends" and says something about the London Anarchist
Federation; a letter from PM Rogers in Oxford dated 7th
November 1989, addressed to London Greenpeace, and there is
a photocopy of the envelope as well, asking for information
about the anti-McDonald's campaign and the anti-McDonald's
fayre; a letter from Peter Toke in New York, dated February
16th 1990, to London Greenpeace, talking about protesting
against a McDonald's restaurant opening in Moscow; a letter
from Canada dated 27th February 1990 from an organisation
asking for information about McDonald's; a letter from
Gareth Simpson in New Zealand dated 9th March, 1990, who
says he is preparing an article about the anti-McDonald's
movement in New Zealand; a letter from Julie Spears dated
21st March 1990. She is in Kent. She has recently been
given a copy of the "What's Wrong with McDonald's?" leaflet
and would like further information.

A letter from Marie Kidd (it does not have an address on
it) dated 11th February, 1990, "Dear London Greenpeace,
please send me any details and information about
McDonald's, especially IRA involvement. I am writing on
behalf of Animal Welfare Society." A letter from Michael
Marseco in Philadelphia, sending a whole load of
information about the Philadelphia Unemployment Project
which I think is -- well, I think the information was used
in this case.
