    17   Q.   I am just going to ask you a few introductory questions but
    18        that is all and then I will sit down and the Defendants
    19        will cross-examine you.  What is the present position you
    20        hold, Mr. Tindale?
    21        A.  I am a franchisee with McDonald's and I have franchises
    22        in Hatfield and Welling Garden City in Hertfordshire.
    23        I have been doing that for 12 months.

    26        A.  I am 47.

    29        A.  Yes.

    35        A.  I have two boys, eight and 10.

    41        A.  In November 1979.

    44        A.  For the previous nine years I had been a Secondary
    45        School teacher.

    48        have, I think, for you were a teacher?
    49        A.  Yes, I qualified at City of Leeds and Carneagie School
    50        of Physical Education.

    52   Q.   Subject to the fact that you are now a franchisee of the 
    53        two restaurants and that you are no longer a Chief Training
    54        Officer, presumably, and you gave that up, am I correct in
    55        saying, when you became the franchisee?
    56        A.  Yes.
