     4   Q.   That is the Vesty Organisation; until when roughly?
     5        A.  1962.

     7   Q.   Did you work from between 1962 and 1978 for various
     8        companies, Unilever, Marsh Harris in England and a firm
     9        called Robert Wilson in Scotland?
    10        A.  Yes, I did.

    12   Q.   Are they in one sense or another all meat companies?
    13        A.  They are all meat processing companies.

    15   Q.   Have you had any public or international duties or
    16        responsibilities or offices in relation to the business of
    17        meat?
    18        A.  Yes.  I am now President of the British Meat
    19        Manufacturers Association and last year the Minister made
    20        me a Commissioner of the Meat and Livestock Commission.

    22   Q.   Does your company presently hold the Queen's Award for
    23        Export?
    24        A.  Yes, we were awarded that last year.

    26   Q.   Have you had dealings with European bodies in relation to
    27        meat?
    28        A.  Yes.  I export to McDonald's in Denmark, Holland,
    29        I have exported to Belgium and I have, of course, exported
    30        to Hong Kong and I currently still export one product to
    31        Sweden -- all McDonald's.

    33   Q.   Have you worked or undergone training in the United States
    34        of America?
    35        A.  Yes, when I joined McDonald's or, rather, joined McKey
    36        I was sent to the United States of America for training.

    38   Q.   At what they are pleased to call their Hamburger
    39        University?
    40        A.  No, that was not at the Hamburger University.  That
         training was at Keystone Foods in Philadelphia.
    42        Subsequently, I attended Hamburger University in London on
    43        the Advanced Operations Course.

    45   Q.   I would like to ask you, if I may, a little bit about the
    46        history of McKey Food Services Limited.  Is McKey Food
    47        Services Limited now part of a larger group of companies?
    48        A.  It is now -- it has shareholders in the United States
    49        of America, Otto Service Industries of Chicago, who are
    50        another McDonald's supplier in the United States of 
    51        America.

    53   Q.   Otto Services Industries, OSI, is a very big company, is it
    54        not?
    55        A.  Very big company -- very international company.
