     3        A.  No.  I said I had those discussions with Rudolfo
     4        Madrigal.

     7        A.  Yesterday.  He told me that recently he had had
     8        conversations with Benjamin and -- I cannot remember the
     9        person.

    12        A.  I do not remember.  I just wrote "Benjamin".  That is
    13        what I wrote in my notes.  He is the person who said he is
    14        the ecologist who took the people into the rainforests and
    15        who made some allegations and who claimed that we were
    16        using beef from the rainforests and importing into the US.
    17        That person has told to Rudolfo Madrigal, Benjamin, that he
    18        lied about those statements.

         A.  That is correct.

    23   Q.   Did you speak to anyone from the actual plant,
    24        Coope Montecillos, itself?
    25        A.  When?

    28        A.  No, I have not.

    30   Q.   So was it just Paul Simmons and Rudolfo Madrigal, or was
    31        there someone else?

    35        A.  That I remember, yes.

    37   Q.   Apart from the Costa Rica issue and the Japan issue, was
    38        there anything else you talked to them about?
    39        A.  Oh, yes.  I talked a lot about -- I needed some
    40        information that was requested by your party, so I had
         asked him to collect that information.  So I spend a lot of
    42        time describing what was needed.  I asked him also about
    43        the specifications.  I asked him:  "Are they available?  Do
    44        they include back to the first one that it is only 100 per
    45        cent beef?"  He went and look for them, brought them back
    46        and said, "Yes."  We had some other discussions about the
    47        trial, what went on on the trial.  We had some discussions
    48        about my cancelling my vacation or at least postponing the
    49        trip because of this trial.  I have had many discussions.
