     3   Q.   In the three years, just over three years, that have passed
     4        since you joined Perseco, have Perseco done work for
     5        anybody other than McDonald's?
     6        A.  They have started to do work this year for Coco Cola.

     8   Q.   For Coca Cola?
     9        A.  Yes, a similar service, a purchasing service, of
    10        packaging, again purchasing and all related areas.

    12   Q.   Can I, therefore, assume that during the three plus years
    13        that you have been working for Perseco your time has been
    14        spent, in effect, sourcing McDonald's packaging needs?
    15        A.  Yes.  Only in the last few months I have had secondary
    16        engagements for Coca Cola, but before that it has been
    17        mainly with packaging for McDonald's.

    19   Q.   You have told us a moment ago that you started out, as it
    20        were, with a concern for environmental management?
         A.  Yes.

    23   Q.   That is one of the reasons why you joined Perseco?
    24        A.  Yes.  One of the things that had struck me was the fact
    25        that, that was about five years before about, so about 10
    26        years ago in environmental literature, I would say
    27        McDonald's had quite a bad name and image and they had
    28        succeeded, in my perception, to move that, in the
    29        literature, to move that around, that image, to move that
    30        around, to quite a positive one, to be one of the
    31        trend-setters, if you may, during about the time that
    32        I finished my studies.

    34   Q.   So that was before you joined Perseco?
    35        A.  That was before I joined Perseco.

    37   Q.   What I wanted to ask you is this, given your experience in
    38        the last three years or so working, as it were, inside the
    39        organisation, have you been disappointed with what you have
    40        found in reality so far as McDonald's and Perseco are
         concerned?
    42        A.  Not in general, no.  They have been -- I will never
    43        make that the statement McDonald's is perfect in
    44        environmental management.  There are areas where
    45        improvement can be found but, in general, McDonald's is on
    46        the right way and have shown to me that that is a company
    47        I would like to work for, yes, definitely.

    49   Q.   I was going to ask you what is your perception, as a person
    50        who does not work directly for McDonald's, of McDonald's 
    51        attitude?  As you say, they do not always succeed in 
    52        achieving perfection.  I am sure they would accept that 
    53        themselves.  What is your perception of their overall
    54        attitude in relation to environmental matters?
    55        A.  I have found that were most people within McDonald's
    56        that I deal with, they are well aware of environmental
    57        considerations and will definitely take them up in their
    58        decisions whatever that may -- whatever other causes that
    59        may involve.
