qualification and have a certificate in management, and, as
part of that, one of the courses I undertook, which was an
examined course, was in marketing.

Q. So there was a paper in marketing?
A. Yes.

Q. Or whatever?
A. Yes.

Q. Did that involve the writing of a dissertation or anything
like?
A. It involved a number of ---

Q. Essays?
A. -- assignments, a number of assignments that were
completed during the course, as well as an exam at the end
of it.

Q. Again, forgive me, if it is not a rude question: how long
ago was that?
A. The exact year?

Q. Roughly speaking?
A. I think it was approximately five years ago.

Q. Five years. Were you working for The Food Commission at
that time?
A. Yes, I was.

Q. When did you first start working for The Food Commission?
A. In 1984.

Q. 1984, so that is ten years?
A. Yes.

Q. Has The Food Commission's focus been, broadly speaking, the
same during those ten years, that is to say, concentrating
on what one might call or other people might call "healthy
diets"?
A. Yes.

Q. Do you attach a meaning, Ms. Dibb, to the phrase "healthy
food" or "healthy meals"?
A. Attach? I am sorry, I am not clear of the question you
are asking me.

Q. Does it convey a meaning to you, if somebody should
say, "That is an unhealthy meal that you have just eaten"?
A. "Healthy" I would take to mean, in this context, to be
healthy within the context of a healthy, balanced diet.
There are certain features which go to make up a healthy,
balanced diet, and there are certain features that one
would look for in a healthy, balanced meal.

Q. So would you agree with me (and I think probably, from what
you have just told me, you would) that it is a nonsense to
speak of "healthy" or "unhealthy" food per se?
A. I would not say it is a nonsense. I think, when one
looks at the kinds of foods which go to make up a healthy
