McDonald's did a good thing *gasp* everyone take note... Flint said something good about McDonald's. Because of a shareholder action, McDonald's now won't discriminate against you based on your sexual orientation. Now if we could get them not to discriminate (fire!) union organizers we'd be making some more progress.

McDonald's Adds Non-Discrimination To Menu
Faced with a shareholder resolution demanding a written ban on anti-gay job discrimination, the McDonald's Corp.
"the world's largest global foodservice retailer" ^× has agreed to amend its policies concerning non-discrimination and sexual harassment to include sexual orientation.
The decision by the giant fast food company, revealed this week by the
groups behind the shareholder resolution, demonstrates the growing power of shareholder activism in the effort to get corporations to institute gay-friendly policies.
"McDonald's is one of the larger employers in the country," said Diane
Bratcher, co-chair of the New York-based Equality Project, which seeks
equal treatment of gays in the workplace. "They are in every community.
Their influence reaches out very broadly, and that's part of the
